On-line Counselling and Psychotherapy

Sometimes, professional counselling and psychotherapy can really help.

As a committed, professional psychotherapist, I work with people to help them manage and navigate difficult situations, and to move towards greater mental and emotional well-being.

Everyone can need some
extra support sometimes.

About Therapy

How counselling and psychotherapy can help you:

Counselling and psychotherapy offers a welcoming, non-judgmental, confidential and respectful space where you can safely share thoughts, feelings, and challenges at a pace that suits you.

Many people find it can really help to talk to someone who isn't involved in their normal lives.

Therapy may help if you need support with any of the following:

  • Low mood

  • Anxiety

  • Panic

  • Confidence and self-esteem

  • Assertiveness

  • Grief

  • Loss

  • Depression

  • Recent or childhood trauma

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Loneliness or isolation

  • Life transitions

  • Personal growth

I use a Humanistic, person-centred and Integrative approach in sessions, informed by evidence-based research on positive outcomes in psychotherapy. I respect the individuality of each person, and aim to help clients integrate the parts of themselves that have become stuck or lost along the way.  I draw on different therapeutic tools and approaches (including CBT, Gestalt, and Transactional Analysis) to fit each client’s changing needs.

As a psychotherapist, I work with clients to help them identify limiting beliefs and patterns of behaviour that may be holding them back from living life as they really long to. Often, we create our understanding of ourselves and the world at a young age, and unresolved experiences from our childhoods can continue to affect us throughout our lives. Through bringing unconscious feelings and beliefs into awareness in the here-and-now, and developing our resources in adulthood, we can have more choice in how we are in the world as we move forward.

If appropriate and useful, I incorporate somatic processing and mindfulness practices in sessions to help clients regulate their nervous system and regain a sense of safety and security in the present moment.

I work on-line with video call, which means you can access therapy from the comfort of your own home.
